Current Career Opportunities

We’re always looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us in a stable, long-term career. Positions may include:

  • Lumber Packer – Work at the heart of production ensuring finished lumber is sorted, stacked, and ready for shipment. Great entry-level position with advancement potential.

  • Board Edger Operator – Operate precision sawmill equipment to maximize lumber yield and quality. Training provided for candidates with mechanical aptitude.

  • Log Scaler – Inspect and measure incoming logs, determining grade, volume, and species. Ideal for those with an eye for detail and a background in forestry or lumber.

  • Machine Operator – Keep our production lines moving by running saws, conveyors, and processing machinery safely and efficiently.

  • Heavy Equipment Operator – Operate loaders, forklifts, and other heavy machinery to transport logs and materials across the mill yard.

  • Truck Driver (CDL) – Safely deliver logs, lumber, and byproducts between Turman Group facilities and customer locations. Home most nights.

  • Industrial Maintenance Personnel – Maintain and repair mill equipment to ensure consistent uptime and productivity. Experience with hydraulics, welding, or electrical preferred.

Each position plays a critical role in our success and contributes to the larger Turman Group network of forest product companies across the region.
